Streams 1-3 feet wide, stagnant water with no flow.
Streams 3-5 feet wide, slight flow but well below usual banks.
Streams >5 feet wide, some flow but far below usual banks.
Ponds <1 ac. Mud puddles full of cattails
Ponds 1-3 ac. Little water visiable because of the cattails.
Ponds >3 ac., 2-3 feetbelow normal levels.
Deciduous and conifer trees seem healthy with new growth.
Wild apple trees that are common along our roads all have very small, green fruit. No signs of acorns from the oaks.
A twice daily visitation from a group of American Wild Turkeys. In addition to 4 adult hens there are two generations of small birds that seem to be thriving.
No local commerial blueberry fields have been harvested.
A local beekeeper says much of the things the bees would normally visit are too dry. No sign of any fields being cut for hay.
