We've had 1.28" of rain this month, including .69" two days ago, but that brought our total since Jan. 1 to just 4.12".  Water has pooled in stock tanks and the creek ran briefly.  Hills haven't turned green yet this year; in some heavily-grazed areas there may not be viable grass now.  Bird and other wildlife activity seems normal for the season.
