General awareness:  We've been having rain the past few days, with blessedly lower temperatures.  We're still low for August, following a higher-than-normal July.  I'm putting it as mildly dry based on the past month or two, not on the year (which is drought).
Agriculture: Harvest is in swing, paused because of rain.  The wheat fields we see have been harvested, and mustard harvest is beginning.
Energy: Still strong production, with 63.24 kWHR created yesterday by our solar panels, and only using 22.4 kWHR.  The rest goes to Idaho Power.  We'll retrieve some of that as we move into cloudy fall and early winter, and then it all goes to Idaho Power as we reset.  This is a net gain for Idaho Power.
Fire:  Danger is still high.
Plants/wildlife: Birds are starting to flock for migrations; we have about 15 hummingbirds at our feeders, and there are some significant flocks of crows gathering.
Water: We're still dry, of course, and wondering what this Godzilla El Nino is going to do.  We're on a cusp for El Nino, such that we never know if we'll see more or less rain/snow.
