We received no measurable rainfall this week at this farm. Temperatures have been from low to upper nineties with my "unofficial"evapotranspiration rate about .20 each day. Creeks, spring fed ponds, and streams flowing normal but wet weather springs drying up a little and rain fed pond a little lower. Cattle and wildlife doing good, pasture and hayfields still look good. Gardens growing and producing well and neither field crops or timber are showing any signs of stress. This is good weather for tobacco cutting, hauling, and hanging in the barn. We are thankful.
