Drought conditions continue as rains skirt our immediate area and strong breezes prevail. The ground is hard and dry; dust remains an issue to pasture and livestock. Yards and pastures are brown and showing dirt between individual plants. Even the weeds are showing wilt now. Fire risk is very high, especially with the breezes. Ponds are scummy and dropping, with more showing mud rings. Our wet-weather branches still haven't run since early Spring 2025.
