A total of 1.73" of precip for the week was enough to restore deeper soil moisture.  Seems almost mildly wet but near normal is probably where we are at.  Waterways have improved and look to be in pretty good shape.  Trees, crops and lawns all look very green with lawns recovering nicely from our recent drought.  Saw some crows along with some turkeys combing my lawn, all looking for insects no doubt.  A lone rabbit, some squirrels and chipmunks were about all that was happening with the wildlife.  The serotinal days of summer have definitely arrived.
