This week cooled a bit after Heat Warning ended night of the 10th, Mon. It had been so hot. The Hx lessened and it was bearable to be outdoors. The precip that we did get was always on the edge of a weather system. No thunder cells here. Thank goodness for morning dew. The deer have begun their grazing rotation. We often won't see them for a week. Typical for Aug. No signs of other wildlife, pretty quiet. Creeks and streams are low. Tourism, on the other hand, is strong and steady.
