We have only received 0.03 in. of rain this week, and with the super-hot and humid conditions, it is very dry out.  After noons this week have been brutal.  Vegetation seems to be suffering a little.  It was so humid after last weekend's rain my clothes would dry on the line when out on the 8th and it wasn't much better on the 9th.  The grass is still thick and lush, but it isn't growing tall this week.  The wind this morning blew dried walnut leaves off my sunroom roof, and one of my peach trees has several yellow leaves under it.
