Dry side of near normal, since Aug 01 I received 0.23 inch of rain, and my ET gauge reported 0.83 inch. I dug a 20 deep hole on the 8th and could feel moisture in the soil. Agriculture seems to be normal, forage crop growth seems to be normal as well as corn. Lawns are still actively growing.
Due to higher temps and humidity, air conditioners are being used. A fire ban in this area is in place. Mosquitoes numbers are high. Seeing lot of RV's on the roads.
