Friday morning the 31st and through to 6AM the 1st the Baraboo River Vally had much needed soaking rain. I had 2.41", Baraboo 2.59" and Reedsburg 2.32". The crops responded after not having rain in 3 to 4 weeks. Lawns also greened back up as did pastures. Small marshes and ponds came up some, but by the end of the week they were receding because it is still dry. The Baraboo River dropped below normal again, And the Wisconsin river is low. It was a good week for putting up hay, outdoor construction and activities. Note that Sunday the 10th I had 1.06" and Reedsburg 1.82".
