We have had measurable rainfall for 9 out of the first 10 days od August. The stream flows continue to be much below average but the vegetation appears lush and fungal/mushroom growth is exuberant given summer temps and daily rainfall. However we have been below average temperature -wise for the first ten days of the month. Despite daily rain showers you can get outside and get things accomplished before the typical afternoon shower comes along. It is refreshing to see our reputation as a termperate rain forest upheld despite a nearly 12 in total rainfall deficit for the year.
