The grass has grown a little bit in some spots, enough for us to warrant cutting it yesterday. But as I walk around the neighborhood, I'm still seeing large sections of grass that's still yellow. We haven't really gotten much rain over the past couple of weeks (<.25" this week). Some of the other plants I'm seeing also look a little bit wilted as they have been. Nothing major, just enough to call it dry. We've got a storm system tracking east across Michigan but I'm not holding my breath for it to produce meaningful amounts of precipitation for us as they all seem to break apart and weaken before reaching us.  Will take anything we can get, though.
