Rain for the week at this location was 1.26 in with the bulk of that being 1.04 in a Friday afternoon storm. So much wind with that storm that rain was probably more than caught in gauge. Zero visibility while the storm was going on. A delivery truck sat in our driveway through the storm. Thought we had gotten by with just some sticks and leaves blown down but discovered a large part of a tree out by the road had been broken off and will require tree service removal. With the rain, high temps, Doctor appointments and a Son and grand daughter back from Calif. last week, the lawns got ahead of us. We finally got most of it mowed yesterday but now have a bunch of sweeping to do and with it thundering right now and the forecast for the week ahead, things may not look pretty for awhile. Haven't been out to see what the crop damage may have been with Friday's storm. Prior to that crops and pastures were looking good. Again, Gardens not so much.
