Going to lean back into Mildly Wet from Moderately Wet because despite receiving over 1" of precipitation in the past week, the ground appears to have handled it well and drained it away. EVERYTHING is moist and humid and the two dark horsemen of mosquitos and mushrooms are here but other than that, we're OK. Basement is remarkably dry after yesterday's ~0.5" of rain.

Due to moisture, any tree vulnerable to fungus is getting hit now and that is causing some tree limb breakage. Also, apples are very heavy due to the rain; branches are bending.

In the garden, tomatoes continue to ripen with zucchini and cucumbers slowly producing. Sweet corn is apparently around but I haven't seen it.  Lettuces are going to bloom and produce seed very soon. Most peas have died by now but a few are hanging in there, still blooming even.

The past week has been a strong run of humid warm nights. Thus, great for mosquitos and earthworms.

Baby bunny visited in the past week-- about grapefruit sized and appeared to be alone.
A word about wildlife: we are experiencing a much higher than normal frequency of rabies infections in the area. Everyone is on edge.

Allergies have been generally low. I would give my kingdom for a low humidity day right about now.
