I am having to water flower pots every day and plants I’ve put in the ground are being watered every other day. I e still lost a milkweed plant and my coral belles and goats look pretty sad. 

I'm a birder so put fresh water in the birdbath every day - often twice a day. The hummers have found us and empty the one feeder I have out daily. I can see the birds struggling with the heat, but haven’t seen any meet their demise due to the heat and set conditions. 

it’s hot and dry enough to keep people in their house more than normal here on the lake. There’s a lot to get done with the yearly wood dump we get in our yard, but it’s far too hot with little breeze for relief.
