No measurable precipitation this past week. Last Sunday was a nice and unusual 82 degrees for a high. Each day after that this past week was 90 or above (back to normal). Plenty of sunshine and the landscape is taking on that late summer dark green. Stress areas have appeared in the yard and some leaf drop has occurred on area trees. Crops are maturing quite nicely with corn harvest set to begin this coming week. Still irrigating quite a few acres of soybeans, but many of them are done too.
