A trace or more on 7 of the first 9 days this month totaling 1.21 inch. It has also been hot and humid the past few days. A little less humid this morning. No sign of to little water with green grass in August and garden and weeds growing well. Tomatoes have really started ripening this past week. Little break from the weekly lawn mowing.  Birds have been much quieter lately but more Hummingbirds at the feeder. Most of this summer I wake to calls from Cardinals but not the past week.
