Report for the week of 8/1 - 8/8/2026. We received 1.95” of rain. Even though we got that much rain the ground is fairly dry if you dig down a few inches. There is a spot in my neighbor’s yard that ponds when we get that much rain but, it did not. The grass and the gardens are growing well with the rain and warm temperatures. There were are few days the week that the temperatures and humidity were oppressive. St Lawrence River level recorded at NOAA station on Wellesley Island. Level is 246.59 ft. , 42.9” above Low water datum and 73.9°F water temperature.
