Drought conditions continue as extreme hot temperatures with no precipitation prevail. Folks have settled indoors going out only for irrigation and/or setting sprinklers for lawn and gardens.  No fruit on the trees due to late spring frosts. Fire danger is high and wildfires have popped up frequently.  Tourism appears down but still the roar of cycles through town continues as it's Sturgis season.
