It's now been three hot weeks since any measurable rainfall, and we are starting to feel it! Grasses are turning along roadsides and fire danger is rising (though I have not heard any burn bans locally.) With all local lakes at conservation level, water supply is great for  mid-August. This is now a typical Texas August -- and all are waiting for cooler weather! Time to get ready for fall gardens!
