We have received 5.92 in. of rain this week!  1.06 in. came at the beginning of the week and another 4.86 in. came with round after round of thunderstorms at the end of the week.  Lots of electrical activity with the thunderstorms with my power turning off at least once during the wee morning hours of the 6th.  We were dry and dusty at the end of last week, but not now.  Warm this week and humid at the tail ends.  I have seen more rabbits and squirrels this week and I think the squirrels are busy with all of the hickory nuts falling by my back porch.  It will be time to mow again this weekend as grass is still green and lush along with other vegetation.
