Hot and humid and typical for August. July we received 2.5" / -1.76 low vs monthly average. Conditions are drying out from the previous months. May/June/July we received 14.4" total which is .22" below normal. July was particularly dry with 1.74" below normal. Ponds and creeks are drying out. We are experiencing dry conditions in this area. Conditions for growing are good and we will hopefully continue to benefit from pop-up thunderstorm to give crops and foliage much needed rains during the hottest months.
