We have had some relief from the hot dry weather with 6.5" of rain in the last 2 weeks (but it mostly came at once 4.51 on 1 day). Shallow rooted trees are dropping leaves quickly - surfaced has greened up a little bit, but stressors remain. Still hot and humid with about 45 days of summer remaining. Creeks have recovered a bit with minor flooding from the heavy rain events - animals are moving a little more.
