CLIMATE SUMMARY FOR THE NORTHERN CURRITUCK SOUND WATERSHEDS, JULY, 2026
as recorded in Princess Anne at Lago Mar.

In July, 2026 we broke out of our drought. On July 1 we were in a moderate drought, but by the end of the month we were near normal.  Temperatures were also very close to normal.  It was the first above normal month of precipitation since October, 2025.

Other interesting climate-related occurrences for July included a period of high haze from wildfires in Canada. The month could effectively be split in two: Hot and dry in the first half, moist and mild for the second half.
