After a wet June I only measured 1.21" of rain for the month of July. To start the month of August I recorded .74" of rain this past Friday and Saturday. I am still calling this to be a mildly dry period, but my lawn is still looking good and needs to be cut at leat once a week. In my general area the corn looks good, and soybeans look like thick, healthy bushes.
