Last month, we received 2.18 times our normal monthly rainfall. This month is starting off under the strong El Nino conditions which indicates we will have ample rainfall and maybe some excessive events.
Everything that lived through the past drought is doing very well. The grasses are green and well watered.
We have at least one new male Hummingbird this season as indicated by his striped throat and the start of one or two of his ruby feathers. We continue to have our usual bird species. No new species have been spotted other than a Rose Breasted Grosbeck.
