I believe we are approaching 20 something days of temps near or at 90+ degrees with no rain fall,  grass yards are now brown and crunchy when you walk on them,  have notices local ponds with lower water levels,  full grain harvest is expected to start this week with farmers having not to use "knock down" to dry the grass crops.  Still no major grass fires, haying still taking place but should slow down as they are moving to grain harvest which is early.  Smoke filled air each day with no relief in site.  Grain fields look good but early test is showing low yields per acre.
