Rain has been in relatively short supply this summer, but the floodgates opened this past week and brought us rainfall totaling 3.97”, spread over six days. Not a record, but it sure has greened up area lawns.  Kids return  to school over the next two weeks and tourist activity slows back to a more normal pace.
