Moderately dry questionable  due to light  recent showers  There is some  moisture farther down for established beans and corn.  . However, late planted soybeans are struggling  with the extreme heat and lack of rains to get them started. Gardens need watering every other day.  More and more cracks are developing in  the ground. Rainfall has been sporadic here yet 5 miles Northeast,   where there are  no COCORAHS observers, recently had 1.25 to 1.5 inch this last go around.
