Our Hot and dry weather pattern persisted this week with no measurable rainfall observed. Overall Our soil conditions continue to become dry and sandy, and Our grass remains a mixture of green and brown grasses. Next, our trees leaves are showing a mixture of green leaves with some yellowing of the leaves on some of our trees. These changes are indicating to me that our overall soil conditions for this week are clearly in the mildly dry category, and I did check the drought forecast and it shows drought is sadly likely to occurr here soon. It is my hope that we don't stay in drought for to long, and I am hoping our young trees will be able to survive the combination of high temperatures and lack of rainfall. Lastly, area wildlife remains most active in the mornings and in the evenings and mainly have been various bird species flying about, a sighting of a frog hopping on the ground in our yard, and the insects are usually active most of the day at this time.
