General aspect is green lawns and forests.  Some old grass fields have gone to seed and are turning brown. 2.51" for month 73% normal, 23.57" 135% calendar year, 30.74 118% water year.  Precip has been spotty with some places missing out and quite dry.  Station is about in the middle for locations in this and adjacent counties.

 Corn in full tassel and hayfields have 8" or less of regrowth.  Beet and squash harvest from garden.  

Stream flows look low for season.

Many monarchs in pollinator plantings on milkweed now in flower.  Bumblebees not abundant.  Blueberry crop is low here, reports of good crops some places.

Turkeys with and without broods on roadsides probably after numerous grasshoppers.  Biting insects way down and deer have come out from cover including several does with twins.

Some smokey days, but no fires locally.

Heavy tourist traffic on US 2 with bicycles and kayaks on board.  Other outdoor economic activity at average levels.
