Rains continue to bypass our immediate area. The ground is quite dry and hard; dust has become an issue to pasture and livestock. Yards and pastures show considerable brown now. Weeds continue to do well, though.  Fire could be a very bad problem now, especially with the breezes. Ponds are scummy and dropping noticeably--many show mud rings again. Our wet-weather branches still haven't run since early Spring of last year.
