Hot and humid and typical for July.  For the month of July we received 2.5" which is -1.76 low as compared to monthly average. Conditions are drying out from the previous months. For the month of June we received 6.51" of rain, which is 1.48 above normal. For the months of April and May, we received 7.7 and 5.39" respectively, so for the three month (Apr-Jun) period we were 5.45" above normal. Ponds and creeks are normal. We are experiencing a transition to dry conditions in this immediate area, while surrounding areas have benefitted greatly by nice rains. Conditions for growing are good and we will hopefully continue to benefit from pop-up thunderstorm to give crops and foliage much needed rains during the hottest months.
