Before today conditions were extremely dry and hot in the 90’s for many days.   If you had no irrigation system, the lawns were very hard to walk on.  I’m sure 6-10 inches down would be totally dry.  Last night we started a rainfall and it is still raining.  So far we have 0.30 inches and hope it continues.  Some of my trees were dropping some dead leaves because of the dry conditions.
