This summer is requiring way too much watering to keep things alive. I’ve even started to water less with the thought that plants may begin to stress but I’ll at least keep them alive. Around the area, including Fort Collins, it seems more and more trees looked stressed with browning leaves, or have lots of top dead branches (the locusts in old town are looking poorly), or dead. Many spruces in town have died in this last 1-2 years.
