Despite year to date deficit of 12 inches of rain the recent rainfall has caused an explosion of plant, shrub and flower growth. There is an overgrowth of fungus of top of some mulched areas. Flowers look spectacular in pots and in the ground. Nothing beats natural rainfall! The deer however are wreaking havoc on the tender shoots that are just now emerging due to the plentiful rainfall! Streams are still flowing at below average rates once the rain stops.
