7-20-26 to 7-26-26: Conditions are near normal following a period of mildly dry conditions as a result of receiving 1.81 inches over the last two days of the reporting period. Turf gives slightly underfoot but does not release water. Surface puddles are noted in low shaded areas. Drain tiles 12 to 18 inches deep have minimal flow. Man made and sinkhole ponds are near overflow stage. ETo turf for the period was 0.50 inches resulting in a precipitation surplus of 1.31 inches. Tensiometer set to 18 inches deep in heavy clay soil ranged from 81 cb to 90 cb dropping to 88 cb following the heavy rain yesterday.
