This location got 2.25 in of rain the first of the  week but with the high temps most of the week, seeing some spots with constant sun and the hotter temps showing some stress.  Crops still looking good.  The wife bought some Sweet Corn from the Manchester area yesterday and it was filled out all the way, so hopefully field corn is doing the same.  Lawn  could stand to be mowed but with the heat the next few days and no real strong chance of rain I believe we will leave it alone.  I guess you could probably say it is just kind of a mostly normal late July.
