Rainfall the past week was less than 0.10", with around 0.35" for the past 15 days. As a result, grass is starting to yellow and unwatered plants are stressed. The ground is also very hard from the lack of rain, which is about 25-30% of normal for the month. With a forecast of less than 0.25"of rain and above normal temperatures for the remainder of July, we could easily enter the Moderately Dry category and/or flash drought.
