Our conditions this past week were Mildly Dry with no rain. Daily high temperatures were a little below seasonal average for this time of year going into the low-80's or mid-70's(F) every day. The air quality with the high levels of hazardous wildfire smoke noted last week, has improved greatly this week as the smoke cleared early in the week. Lightning bugs are flashing after dark. Lawns are turning brown and grass growth has slowed/stopped except for crab-grass, which is doing just fine. Grass in sunnier locations is getting crispy (see photos).
