Condition Monitoring Report
Station Number: TX-MSN-8
Station Name: Mason 0.4 W
Report Date: 7/25/2026
Submitted: 7/25/2026 6:42 AM
Scale Bar: Severely Wet
Description:
A week of no rain and temperatures in the high-90s has resulted in a lot of drying out. However, there are still ponds of water in the fields and runoffs that are normally dry still have running water in them. The level in the Llano River is dropping rapidly but is still high. The USGS reports the Llano River at Hwy 87 is flowing at 746 cfs vs the 53-year median of 105 cfs. Vegetation is still green and growing when it is normally turning yellow or brown by this time of year. There are no burn bans in effect.
