With 1.77" of rain over the past week the gardens, lawns, and fields are growing well. Rivers and streams are running at a fairly typical rate, soil is neither too wet or dry.  Many bees visiting the gardens this week, their constant, steady hum a relaxing sound.  Hummingbirds are very active and butterfly varieties have increased.  Not many Japanese beetles yet this summer.
