Drought conditions remain with local jurisdictions reporing groundwater deficits - water table in many areas about 20 lower than normal.  Not much being done to effectively inform the public.  Rivers low, limiting fishing, padling, etc. Farmers concerned. Recent rainfalls have been heavy and brief with runoff far exceeding groundwater recharge.
