The Yampa River was closed to all user last week due to severely low flows and warm water. Leaves are falling from the aspen and cottonwoods, blooms are at least three weeks ahead and very minimal. The black bears are becoming more aggressive about finding food. WE have smoke entering the valley from a local fire and fires to the west.
