Smoke and high temps have limited my outside time. Raspberries are ripening, goldenrods are starting to flower and bumblebee sightings are increasing. Ground has been dry, but plants and trees are fairly normal in appearance. Fledgling woodpeckers, grackles, and northern flickers have been observed being fed this week.
