The rain that we have had has been easing us out of the very wet period rather than allowing us to go straight into a significant dry spell. Lawns and vegetation remain lush and still some very muddy areas in swales. Temperatures have been hot with very high humidities and dewpoints, as high as 77F yesterday. Historically severe flooding a couple days ago just 10 miles east of here in training thunderstorms. Businesses flooded and over 100 water rescues.
