Man made and sinkhole pond levels are at approximately 90% of capacity and declining. River birch trees are shedding leaves in response to dry conditions. Total ETo turf for period is 1.40 inches. This combined with total precipitation of 0.16 inches results in a deficit of 1.24 inches over the period. Tensiometer 18 inches deep in heavy clay soil had readings ranging from 70 cb early in the reporting period to 83 cb two days ago. Current tensiometer reading is 82 cb indicating irrigation is needed for tree crops.
