The last week has seen no precipitation, coupled with abnormally high temperatures.  The soil is lacking moisture and even the natural weeds are not growing.  Nearby ponds have dried up and seasonal streams are nearly dry.  Watering restrictions continue to be in effect - limiting outside watering to before 8 AM, or after 8 PM, three days per week.  Dry conditions also have fire restrictions in place with no outside fires of any kind. Hoping the monsoon season arrives soon!
