No precipitation for over a week. However, crops look good. In many nearby fields corn ears are filling out. Some crops on poor soil show some stress. Most crops are ahead of their normal maturity. This last week kept the heat index in the upper 90s to 105 f. This resulted the elderly reducing outdoor activities.
No apparent stress to Wildlife. However livestock needs attention due to the heat. Photos include depth of the Minnesota River at the footbridge and dam in Granite Falls, culvert on Curtis Lake, ear of corn with developing kernels in Echo Township.
