Backyard rainfall measured so far this July is not much different than regional normal. Streamflow observed from the nearby reservoir has increased since June. Land use map shows more land is zoned as residential than industrial and no agricultural land zoned in this town. Review of six selected past years of county permit data reveal that 602 residential permits and 58 industry permits (affecting water demand) were issued in this town. The type of nearby businesses impacted by nearby water balance may include apartment complexes, homeowners’ associations, property managers, construction, landscape, & pools.  One nearby HOA recently suffered a mature toppled evergreen tree and a storm damaged mature deciduous tree on their common grounds.
